Polysol Zinc
Polysol Zinc, is a chrome-free, high-performance zinc flake coating system. It serves as both a basecoat and topcoat, or it can be paired with PPI's topcoats, such as Aquazinc® or Aquablack™ for enhanced protection. Polysol Zinc provides sacrificial protection to steel substrates, while the topcoats add an extra barrier layer for superior defense against corrosion.
This non-electrolytically applied coating eliminates the risk of hydrogen embrittlement, making it ideal for critical applications. It performs exceptionally well on zinc-phosphate or grit-blasted parts
Key Features of Polysol Zinc Coating
- Sacrificial protection with optional barrier topcoat (Aquazinc®, Aquablack)
- Non-electrolytic application, preventing hydrogen embrittlement
- Resistance to automotive fluids
- Heat resistant
- Excellent protection against corrosion (1000+ hours)
Polysol Zinc is a cost-effective solution on its own but becomes even more economical when combined with one of PPI's water-based topcoats, offering maximum performance and long-lasting protection.
